Download ImageCinammon Rolls Ingredientsdough300g bread flour160g milk ( i used cold milk)• 1 egg• 30g sugar• 1 tsp instant dry yeast• 1/2 tsp salt• 40g unsalted butter (room temp)• 1/4 tsp cinammon powder (optional)filling• 50g room temp butter• 80g brown sugar• 1 tbsp cinnamon powder• a pinch of saltcream cheese frosting:just mix in cream cheese, yog/milk, powdered sugar, vanilla extract and whiskStepsI used a standing mixer (use the hook) but u can def use a hand mixer/knead with hand1. Sift in the flour and add sugar, then mix till combined2. Add in cinammon powder, sugar, salt and mix till combined3. Add in the egg and mix4. Gradually add in the milk, make sure its not too wet tho! if it’s not too sticky already add in the butter5. Mix again until the dough is elastic for about 10-15 mins6. Transfer dough ball into a well oiled bowl, cover with a towel/cling wrap and allow dough to rise for about 45mins or until double in size7. After dough has doubled in size, transfer dough to a well-floured surface and roll out into a 30x40cm rectangle.5. Spread a generous amount of room temp butter. Then sprinkle the brown sugar cinammon sugar on top, and rub into the butter5. Tightly roll up the dough and seal up the edges.6. Cut into 9 equal pieces using floss/knife (i used floss for a neater look)7. Place inside a lined baking pan and let it rise again for about 45 mins8. Bake it for around 20-25mins at 170C or until slightly golden brown cuz u want them to be soft in the middle! Let them cool for 5 mins and spread the frosting.
