Download ImageWatch Video Maple Glazed Baked Donuts Ingredients (Makes 6-8 Mini Donuts)120g all purpose flour (1 cup)1 tsp baking powder1/4 tsp baking soda1 1/2 tsp cinnamon1/4 tsp salt30g melted unsalted butter (2 tbsp)1 egg at room temperature65g brown sugar (1/3 cup)1/4 cup milk at room temperature1/4 cup greek yogurt at room temperature1 tsp vanilla(Optional: sprinkles and edible flowers for garnish)Maple Icing30g unsalted butter1/3 cup maple syrup110g powdered sugar (1 cup)Pinch of saltStepsFor the donuts, mix the dry ingredients in a bowl (flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, salt).In a second bowl, add the melted butter, sugar, egg, milk, greek yogurt and vanilla and whisk until everything is combined.Add the wet ingredients to the dry bowl and mix just until no dry spots are left (don’t over mix).Oil a donut pan and scoop the batter in each donut cavity using a spoon or piping bag (recommended).Bake in a preheated oven on 180C for 8-10 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.For the icing, melt the butter in the microwave and add the maple syrup.Sift in the sugar and add salt.Give them a mix until the sugar is melted and you get a thick glaze consistency.Once the donuts cool down completely, dip them in the glaze and add sprinkles if desired.
