Watch Video Ingredients 1 kg chicken ( I used chicken drumsticks you can use any kind you like)2 cups basmati rice( washed and soaked)4 cups hot water or chicken Broth1 chopped small tomato1 shredded carrot1 chopped small onion1 minced garlic cloveoil as needed1 chicken bouillon cube2 tsp kabsah spice( 1 for the chicken and 1 for the rice)1 tsp salt1/2 tsp black pepper1/2 tsp turmeric1 tbsp tomato paste Instructions 1:wash and soak the rice for at least 30 minutes2: add oil to a pot then add onion and garlic sauté for a minute.3: add the shredded carrots and tomato and cook for a minute.4:add spices and tomato paste then mix all together5:mix the sauté veggies and mix with the rice.6: in the same pot add oil then add the chicken with the kabsah spice mix then brown both sides.7: add back in the rice add water and chicken bouillon.8: when start bubbling and water same lever as the rice cover and Lower the heat to the lowest setting and cook for 15 minutes.9: turn off the heat after 15 minutes then let it covered for another 15 minutes before flipping.
