Watch Video Lahori Degi Steam Roast Ingredients 1.5kg whole chicken legs, skinnedOil for shallow frying For Marinating 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste1 tsp salt1 tsp red dried chilli flakes1 tbsp Kashmiri chilli powder1 tsp ground coriander1 tsp ground cumin1 tsp chaat masala1⁄2 tsp black pepper1⁄2 tsp ground turmeric1 tbsp lemon juice100 gram yoghurt For Steaming 1 bay leaf2 green cardamom1 black cardamom1/2 tsp black pepper1/2 tsp cloves1/2 tsp cumin seeds Method 1. Make shallow slits all over the chicken.2. blend all the ingredients under marinate until you have a paste.3. Rub this marinade all over the chicken. Marinate, in the fridge for at least 5 hours or overnight.4. Take a steamer pan, and filled with water and all the spices (under the steaming tab) to a boil. place the marinated chicken in the steamer, cover and cook for about 25 minutes or until cooked through. Remove from the heat.5. fill a pan with the oil.6. Fry the and chicken for 5 to 7 minutes or until nice and crispy.7.
