Chinese Spicy Sour Potatoes Ingredients 2 large or 3 cups potatoes of choice2 tbsp cooking oil4 cloves garlic (minced)3 dried chillies (thinly sliced)1 cup red or green bell peppers (julienned)1/2 tsp Sichuan pepper powder1 tbsp light soy sauce1 tsp sesame oil1 tbsp vinegar of choice1/2 tsp salt1 tsp sesame seeds (toasted) Steps Peel potatoes, cut it into julienne strips using a food processor or julienne peeler to achieve similar results, soak in cold water for 15 mins to remove excess starch then drain well.Heat oil in a wok or large pan on high.Add garlic & dried chillies, stir for 30 secs.Add bell peppers, Sichuan pepper & potato strips.Stir constantly for 5-7 mins until potato is cooked to desired doneness (should still be a bit crunchy)Add soy sauce, sesame oil, vinegar & salt, stir for 1 min then taste to adjust seasoning.Garnish with sesame seeds & serve hot/warm as is or with rice.
