Download ImageWatch Video Airfried Spicy Spiral Chips Ingredients2 / 3 Medium potatoes5 tbsp chickpea flour4 tbsps rice flour1/4 tsp turmeric powder1 1/2 tbsp lemon juice1 tsp ajwain/carom seeds4–5 hot green chillies, crushed2 tbsps grated ginger1/4 cup finely chopped coriander leaves1 1/2 tsp salt ( adjust to z AZ hJoñSteps1. Insert skewer (metal or cut wooden into shape) into the bottom of each potato and gently push it all the way through the top.2. Working in a spiral motion from one side to the other, hold a sharp, thin knife at an angle and cut in the opposite direction you are turning the skewered potato, cutting all the way up to the skewer. Take your time and work to make even spirals all the way down the potato.3. Gently fan out each potato down the length of the skewer, until you have even gaps between the slices.4. In a bowl, combine the rest of the ingredients. Add 4 tbsp water (more if required) until you get a thick pancake like batter consistency5. Place each skewered potato over the bowl and using a pastry brush to spread spice mixture over each potato until entirely coated.6. Preheat the Air Fryer at 200 degrees for 15 minutes. Then, carefully set the potatoes in the Airfryer (we used the Rotisserie function but can be done in Airfryer tray or basket)7. Preheat Airfryer at 200 – 250 degrees for about 25 – 30 minutes until nicely crisp & golden. Garnish & serve with green or tomato chutney.
