Download ImageFried Rice Ingredients4 cups cooked rice (chilled overnight)4 tbsp vegetable oil1 large onion (diced)3 cloves garlic (minced)1 inch ginger (grated)3 lemongrass (white parts only & super finely sliced)10 lime leaves (middle vein removed & super finely diced)2 tbsp sambal of choice (optional)1 chicken bouillion (or vegetable for vegan option)1 cup carrot (diced)1 cup french beans (diced, you can use peas instead)2 cups cabbage (diced)3 tbsp soy sauce (to taste)1 tsp salt (to taste)1/2 tsp ground black pepper (to taste)StepsHeat a wok or large pan on high heat, add oil.When oil is hot, add onion, garlic & ginger, fry for 3 mins.Add lemongrass, lime leaves & sambal (if using), fry for 2 mins.Crumble in the bouillion into the wok with your fingers, add carrot & beans, fry for 2 mins.Add cabbage, chilled rice, soy sauce, salt & pepper, toss well to combine (use back of ladle or spatula to break up any lumps)Taste to adjust seasoning & remove from heat.Transfer to serving plates, garnish with suggested condiments below & enjoy!Condimentssunny side upcilantro or parsley (chopped)cucumbers &/or tomatoes (sliced)lime or lemon wedgecrackers (also known as kerupuk, optional) Source : www.instagram.com
