Download ImageIngredients1 tbsp butter1 cup (or abt 250 g) ground meat of choice2 bay leaves1 large yellow onion (finely diced)3 cloves garlic (minced)1 tbsp AP flour1 cup beef/chicken stock or water1 cup sour cream or yoghurt1/2 tsp salt (to taste)1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper (to taste)StepsHeat butter in a saucepan on medium high, add minced meat & fry till browned & caramelised (abt 5 mins)Add onion, garlic & bay leaves, fry till onion turns translucent.Add flour & stir for 1 min.Add stock/water, salt & pepper, bring to a boil.Cook for abt 10 mins or until liquid has thickened into a gravy like consistency.Lower heat, add sour cream & stir until well incorporated.Simmer for another 10 mins (consistently stirring & scraping the bottom with a spatula)Taste & adjust seasonings & cook until sauce reaches desired consistency.Ladle sauce over carbs of choice, garnish with chopped fresh herbs of choice (usually parsley or dill), sprinkle freshly ground black pepper &serve with fresh or pickled vegetables of choice (I steamed some carrots & french beans) Source : www.instagram.com
