Meatball In Tomato Sauce Ingredients

400 gr minced meat (half beef – half chicken or all beef)4 tbsp breadcrumbs1 egg1 tbsp sliced of parsley1 tbsp chopped onion2 pips garlic, minced1 tsp Worcestershire sauce1 tsp salt or to tasteA pinch of black pepperAll purpose flourOlive oil

Tomato Sauce Ingredients

1 brown onion, chopped5 pips garlic, minced1 tbsp dried basil flakes2 celery stick, puree1 cup shredded carrot1 cup mushrooms slices (optional)300 ml tomato pasteBroth or waterSalt and sugar to taste.

Topping

Chopped parsley leavesShredded cheese

Instructions

1. Mix all the ingredients except flour and oil.2. Form into some pingpong balls.3. Coat them thinly with all purpose flour.4. Heat up a bit olive oil on pot, then put them on. Cook until nice brown color. Safe aside.5. In the same pot (no need to be washed), saute the onion and garlic until translucent.6. Add tomato paste, water, celery puree and basil. Stir it.7. Add the carrot, then bring to boil.8. Put the meatballs back to the pot, then add the seasonings.9. Bring to boil, then turn off the heat.10. Sprinkle the toppings. Served.
