Download ImageWatch Video Fried Kani Kimchi Rice Balls Ingredients150 gr crab stick/kani, shredded1/2 cup kimchi, roughly chopped1 1/2 cup steamed rice3 tbsp kimchi juice2 cloves garlic, grated1/2 onion, minced1 tbsp soy sauce1 tbsp gochujang2 tbsp butter1 tbsp sesame oil2 nori sheets, shredded1/4 cup green onions, sliced1/2 cup Cubed Mozzarella cheese1 cup Panko1/4 cup APF1 egg 1 tbsp water, whisk2 tsp sugar1/2 tsp black pepperSalt if neededOil for deep fryingSteps1. Melt butter, fry onion and garlic until translucent2. Add kimchi and stir fry for a min3. Add rice, gochujang, soy sauce, sugar, kimchi juice, black pepper and salt if using. Stir to combine4. Then add crab stick/kani and seaweed, mix5. Off the heat, add spring onion and drizzle sesame oil. give it another good stir. Let the mixture to cool in the fridge6. Grab a handful of rice mixture, flatten then put a cheese cube in the middle and form into ball7. Coat balls with APF then egg mixture, and dredge onto panko bread crumbs8.
