Watch Video Ingredients 500g Tenderised steak cut into small cubes1 tablespoon course black pepper1 tablespoon smooth mustard pasteCourse Red chilli paste to taste1 tablespoon garlic paste1/2 teaspoon dried mixed herbsSalt to taste*Mix the above and marinate for an hour. Steps To a large pan, add 40g butter and heat.Fry the above marinated steak in the butter until cooked.Add 2 teaspoons of flour and mix. Braise for a minute.Add in 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise. Mix.Lastly add 1 cup of fresh / pouring cream and mix well.Simmer until you get the desired thickness.Taste. adjust with course red chilli paste if you want more heat and more salt if needed.Remove and leave aside to cool down completely.Fill into your ready cut puff pastry @pastry_delights_sa .For the pastry i always brush the inside with egg wash.Then fill with the mixture.Close well.Brush with egg eash and sprinkle dried herbs.Bake at 220c until puffed up and then reduce to 180c and bake through.
