Watch Video Ingredients 150g Urad Lentil3 Small Tomatoes (chopped)6 Coriander Strands (chopped)3/4 Tsp Jeera Seeds3/4 Tsp Turmeric Powder3/4 Tsp Salt3 Tbsp Cooking Oil3/4 Tsp Homemade Chutney Paste (garlic chilli powder) Method 1. Wash Urad lentils in fresh water and drain. Repeat this 3 times.2. Place the lentils in a pressure cooker adding 2 cups of warm water and 1/2 Tsp Salt. Place on high heat for roughly 8 minutes depending on your pressure cooker.3. In the meantime pour oil into a saucepan with jeera seeds and let them sizzle.4. Once sizzling add chopped tomatoes stirring well. Then add in salt, turmeric and homemade chutney (minced garlic with chilli powder). Mix well once again and let it simmer for a couple minutes.5. Add the tomato masala mixture to your cooked lentils ensuring both mixtures are well combined.
