Spinach & Feta Pasties Ingredients 150g Whilted Spinach( Spinach that has been boiled in water until soft. Drain and squeeze out the water.)100g Danish Feta Cheese1 teaspoon course black pepper1 cup fresh cream2 tablespoons butter1 tablespoon flourSalt to taste if requiredApproximately 15 ready cut pastry @pastry_delights_sa Steps To a non stick pan, heat butter.Add the flour and braise until you get a nice aroma. Do not brown the flour.Add the fresh cream. Simmer and mix until thickened.Add the wilted spinach and cook further until very thick.Add the feta cheese and mix in very lightly.Allow to cool completely.Brush one half of the inside of the pastry with egg wash.Fill the feta spinach filling onto half of your pasty.Fold the other half over and seal.Brush the top with egg wash.Sprinkle with dried mixed herbs.Bake in a preheated oven at 200c until the pasty just begins to puff up and then reduce to 180c and bake until done.Enjoy.
