Sear the beef in 2 batches until brown all over, about 5 minutes.Remove lamb onto a plate and set aside. Add the onion and garlic, cook for 2 minutes.Add carrot cook for 5 minutes until onion is soft, add the mushroom and cook for around 3 minutes.Add the grape juice, chicken stock, crushed tomato, tomato paste and bay leaves.Stir to combine and let it boil.Once boil place the beef pieces back into the pot, now cover, and let it cook on a very low heat for 2 hours.After 2 hours removeeat from the pot and the bay leaves.Now you can use your blender to blitz everything together in the pot, or remove the veggies from the pot if you don’t want to blitz the veggies.once done taste it and add salt to taste if desired.Return the meat and sauce to the heat for another 20-25 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
