Watch Video Ingredients 500 gms of mixed mushroom medley you can use button mushrooms2 shallots finely chopped5 cloves of garlic crushed1 tsp mixed herbs1 tsp wholegrain mustard2 tbs plain flour2 cups of chicken stock (you may need more or less depending how thick or runny you like the sauce)1⁄4 cup of thickened cream2 tbs butterblack peppersalt to taste Method In a saucepan add butter,garlic and shallots and saute for 1 minute (do not burn garlic as it will give a bitter taste)Add in mixed herbs and mix through then add mushrooms and saute until gold in colourAdd in the flour and mix through with the mushrooms and start adding in the stock gradually until reaches desired thickness.Add wholegrain mustard and black pepper and salt if needed.Now add thickened cream and give it a good stir and taste .
