Download ImageGrilled Kafta ( Lebanese Kebab) Ingredients1 lb lean ground beef1/2 lb ground lamb1 onion, thinly diced or grated1 bunch parsley, washed dried & chopped1 tbsp 7 spice1 1/2 tsp salt1/2 tsp black pepper1/2 tsp cumin1/2 tsp ground corianderMethodIn a large bowl, place meat & spices Next add in the parsley & onions and mix well using your hands Shape them into fingers or you can even place them on skewers Let the Kafta sit in the fridge until you are ready to grill themPlace the Kafta on a pre-heated grill (lightly oil) and cook for 8-10 minutes until browned (turning a couple times to get even browning)Serve with spiced pita, hummus, tabouli & I had leftover vegetable rice Don’t forget the pickled cucumbers! Enjoy!*For the spiced pita I use 2 tbsp tomato paste, 1/2 tsp spicy tomato paste & drizzle of oil Mix all together and spread on pita bread adding as much of the paste as you like Cut the pita using a pizza cutter and bake for a few minutes at 350F (Delicious dipped in hummus!)
