Black Pepper Beef Stir Fry Ingredients Meat250 g beef tenderloin, flank or other preferred cuts (sliced into 1/2 cm thick)2 tbsp cooking oil1 small green bell pepper (deseeded & sliced)1 small red bell pepper (deseeded & sliced)1 small onion (sliced)2 cloves garlic (minced)2 cm ginger (minced)Marinade1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper1 tsp cornstarch1 tbsp water2 tsp oyster sauce1 tsp light soy sauce1 tsp rice vinegar1 tsp sesame oilSauce1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper1 tsp cornstarch1 tbsp water1 tsp oyster sauce1 tsp light soy sauce1 tsp dark soy sauce1 tsp rice vinegar1/4 tsp salt Steps In a bowl, combing ingredients for the marinade, add sliced meat, massage & set aside.In another bowl, combine ingredients for the sauce & set aside.Heat wok or large pan on high, add oil.When hot, add meat, cook for 2 mins till colour has changed slightly, remove from wok, transfer into a bowl & set aside.Into the same wok used earlier, add garlic & ginger, saute for 1 min then add onion.Saute for 1 min, add both bell peppers & saute for 1 min.Add meat back in followed by the sauce, cook for 2-3 mins till meat is fully cooked & gravy reaches desired consistency (add more water if necessary)Taste to adjust seasoning, remove from heat & serve with rice.
