Download ImageWatch Video Potato Pinwheel Ingredients1-Roll of puff pastry1- Egg1- Medium size onion diced3-Medium potato boiled and mashed4- Green chilli finely chopped ( adjust chilli accordingly)3- Garlic clove minced or grated1-tbs Oil1/2 tsp Turmeric1-tsp- Kashmiri chilli powder1/2 tsp- Cumin powder1/2 tsp Garam masala1-tsp Chaat masala ( I used rajah brand )Handful of peasSalt to tasteCoriander for garnishingMethod-Add oil to the pan-Add garlic and onion, sauté until brown-Add green chilli, and all the masala above except chaat masala-Combine all masala together and cook for 2-3 minutes-Add peas followed by mashed potato and stir until all the spices are infused and combined-Continuously stir to avoid it sticking to the bottom of the pan-Add chaat masala give it a stir-Garnish with handful of coriander-Let the mixture cool down-Add the mixture to the puff pastry, layering it evenly-Gently fold the pasty starting from one end into a tight Swiss rollSlice it evenly (I managed to get 10 slices)-Lay it out onto a oven tray leaving space-Brush the pasty with egg-Bake in the oven 170c for 20 minutesVoila… serve with sauce of your choice or eat it on its own Source : www.instagram.com
