Download ImagePastel Daging Filling Ingredients250 gr minced beef1 potato, peeled, cut into small dices1 carrot, peeled, shredded300 ml milk1/2 medium sized brown onion, chopped finely2 garlic cloves, minced1/2 tsp white pepper1 tsp sugar1/2 tsp salt1 tbsp chopped celery leaves2 tsp corn startch 5 tbsp waterInstructions1. Saute the onion and garlic till fragrant.2. Put the chicken in. Stir till cooked.3. Put the potato and carrot in.4. Pour the milk. Bring to boil until the veggies cooked.5. Add the seasonings in then the celery. Mixed well.6. Pour the corn startch mixture. Stir it until a bit thick, then turn off the heat. Ready to use!Pastry Ingredients300 gr plain flour60 gr butter margarine (I use blueband)1 large eggHalf of a tsp salt3 tbsp vegetable oil some drops oil75 ml cold waterCooking oilInstructions1. Combine all the ingredients except water. Mix all until become like coarse sand.2. Pour the water little by little until become a dough.3. If the dough is a bit dense, give a drop oil on your palm then knead the dough until incorporated. Do it until the dough is smooth and easy to shape. (Do not add more water, it makes the dough to watery and difficult to hold the shape).4. Divide the dough. (I divide into 25 gr each).5. Flat it into oval using rolling pin.6. Put a tbsp of filling.
