Watch Video Kousa Bil Laban Ingredients 25 medium/ large size green zucchini (cored)2 cups washed medium grain rice1/2 kilo cooked beef mince @hosnabutchery1/2 cup cooked pine nuts2 kilo Greek yoghurt @jalna_yoghurt800ml water3 heaped table spoons of corn flour diluted with 1/4 cup water .2 tsp salt1 tsp pepper2 tbs butter2 tbs olive oil4 cloves crushed garlic (mortar and pestol )2 tbs dry mint Method Core qoosah and wash well and strain .Wash n strain rice add 1 tsp salt 1 tsp pepperAdd cooked beef mince using olive oil to riceAdd cooked pine nuts using olive oil alsoMix well altogether.Use this mixture to stuff the qoosah .Stuff the qoosah only 3/4 of the way , be sure not to firmly press mixture down into the qoosah. This will cause raw rice .In a large pot add 2 kilo Greek yoghurt, corn flour slurry and water .Whisk well and then turn on heat on highKeep whisking until it comes to a boil , once it boils add in the stuffed qoosahs and DO NOT STIR The first 10 mins until rice thickens , add 1 tsp salt to yoghurt .After 10 mins feel free to stir occasionally and if you think it needs a little more water it’s ok to add some at this stage NOT BEFORE .In a pan cook off butter and garlic and mint until fragrant and add to the qoosah pot.Cover and leave to simmer on a low heat about 1.5 hours .Stove tops may vary so please check one first .
