Kfc Style Spicy Chicken Popcorn Ingredients

500 grams Chicken Boneless

For The Marinade

1 tsp Ginger powder1 tsp Garlic powder1 tsp onion powder1 tsp Oregano dried1 tsp Chili Powder1 tsp Paprika PowderSalt to taste

For The Coating

1 cup Flour 1 -2 tbsp seasoning mix1 egg1 cup Breadcrumbs seasoned with Salt and Pepper

Spicy Seasoning Mix

1 teaspoon Onion Powder1 teaspoon Garlic Powder1 tablespoon Chili Powder1 teaspoon Sugar Powdered1 teaspoon Oregano dried1 teaspoon chili flakes

Method

Cut the boneless chicken into 1 inch bite sized pieces.Mix together all the ingredients under marinade and rub all over the chicken. Marinate for at least half an hour.Mix all the spices together from seasoning mixSeason the flour with 1 tbsp spice mix and panko or breadcrumbs with salt and pepper.Now start by lightly coating the chicken with flour. Dip it in egg next, and then coat with breadcrumbs. Repeat for each piece of chicken, and keep placing them on the plateHeat oil for frying and deep fry in batches on medium heat till the chicken is cooked through and lightly brown on the outside.Sprinkle fried popcorn heavily with spice mix as soon as it’s done frying.Serve hot with some sriracha mayo dipping sauce.
