Bubur Jongkong or Jongkong porridge is one of the traditional desserts from Indonesia. Many sources say that Jongkong porridge comes from Bangka Belitung.
Jongkong porridge has three layers. The first layer is brown sugar, the second layer is pandan, and the top layer whose colour white is coconut milk porridge with smooth texture.
When those mix together, the smooth and tasty flavour from pandan and the white layer become a perfect match with brown sugar sweetness. Jongkong porridge is usually served inside a little glass and it can be an appetizer or a dessert for you.
