Ingredients

6 apples, peeled, cut into small chunks2 cinnamon sticks1 tsp of cinnamon210g of plain flour40g of oats100g of caster sugar 1 tsp20g of demerara sugar120g of cold butter1 cup of water

Instructions

1. Place the apples, 1 tsp of sugar, cinnamon sticks and cinnamon in a pan with the water. Bring to a boil and cook till apples are softened.2. In a bowl mix together the flour, oats and sugar.3. Cut the butter into cubes and mix in with the flour mixture. Use hands to rub in the butter till its all combined but grainy.4. Place the apple in a pie dish and then sprinkle the crumble mixture all over.5. Bake in a preheated oven gas mark 4/5/190c and bake till golden.6. Enjoy with warm custard or cream!
