Watch Video Khmer Lamb Curry Ingredients 1kg of beef/ lamb/ meat of your choice3 small onions, sliced4 star anise3x 5cm stalks of lemongrass2 tbsp of sliced ginger1 tsp of black peppercorns1 tbsp of garlic paste1 tbsp of ground coriander1 tbsp of curry powder1.5 tbsp of garam masala2 tbsp of fish saucesalt and oil, to taste3 red chillies, sliced1 x 400ml can of coconut cream2 cups of water1/2 cup of fresh coriander, chopped Method 1. Sauté the onions, star anise, peppercorns, lemon grass, ginger and garlic paste2. Once the onions start turning translucent,add the spices and mix3. Add the meat and cover well with spices4. Fry the meat and spices on high heat while continuously stirring for 5 minutes5. Add fish sauce, chillies, salt, coconut cream and water and stir6. Simmer on low for about an hour7.
