Download ImageEgg Fried Rice IngredientsFor the rice;– 2 1/2 handfuls of rice– Small knob of butter– 1tbsp oil– 1 small onion– 1 tbsp chopped ginger– 2 tbsp chopped garlic– Salt to taste– 2 tbsp light soy sauce– Chopped spring onionsFor The Eggs;– 2 eggs– Splash of milk– Salt and pepper to tasteSteps1 Cook the rice and butter in a pan with water on a high flame ensuring to keep stirring After 10 – 12 minutes, reduce heat and cover with lid for a further 10 minutes Drain the rice with cold water and set aside2 In a separate pan, scramble the eggs and add the milk, salt and pepper whilst cooking Set aside once done3 Heat the oil in a pan and add the onion for a few minutes to allow it to soften Then add the garlic and ginger and fry for a further few minutes4 Add the rice and fry together, then toss in the egg and soy sauce (Add a splash of water if dry) Cover and let simmer on low heat for a couple of mins, before garnishing with spring onions Source : www.instagram.com
