“Merhaba!” (Hello!) Let’s be real—who isn’t obsessed with Turkish Dramas right now? The visuals are aesthetic, and the storylines give you all the feels. But have you ever paused and wondered: “How do they actually turn these stunning shows into such massive cash cows?”
For those of you who love to “spill the tea” or just want to know the kitchen secrets of the creative industry, there is one virtual hangout spot you absolutely need to check out.
Over at the Randevu Istanbul International Film Festival, film industry insiders are getting real. They are discussing everything—from the drama behind producing “New Generation” TV series to how filmmakers survived and stayed creative during the pandemic. We aren’t talking cheap gossip here; we are talking real insights from the industry bosses.
Now, while you’re listening to them spill the tea, the best way to enjoy it is with a snack that keeps you munching non-stop.
Let’s make the viral treat: Sigara Böreği
This recipe is inspired by @hungergameswithazzy and the taste is literally… next level.

What You Need:
- The Wrapper: 3 packs of Spring Roll Pastry (or Phyllo dough).
- The “Sultan” Filling: Mix 1 kg of Mozzarella, 2 blocks of Feta cheese, and 250g of Ricotta. (A luxury blend!)
- The Aroma: Chopped parsley & Nigella seeds (for that authentic kick).
How to Make It (Just 10 Mins):
- Mix: Throw all the filling ingredients into a bowl and mix well.
- Roll: Take a pastry sheet, add the filling, tuck in the sides, and roll it neatly into a cigar shape.
- Seal: Glue the edge with a mix of water and cornflour so it doesn’t leak.
- Fry: Deep fry in hot oil until it turns golden brown.
Fresh out of the fryer, the skin is crazy crispy (ASMR worthy!) but the inside is pure melted goodness. Seriously, the combo of watching insider talks while snacking on this will make your “me-time” feel totally high-class.
Trust me, it tastes “Çok Güzel” (Very Beautiful/Delicious)!
