Watch Video Persian Style Lamb Curry Ingredients 1kg of lamb (I used bbq chop pieces as that’s what I had but preferably use curry pieces)2 small onions, sliced2 x 4cm long cinnamon sticks5 cloves4 cardamom pods1 tsp of garam masala1 tsp of ground cumin1 tsp of ground coriander1 tsp of chilli powder2 tbsp of garlic ginger paste12 almonds, crushed2 cups of watersalt and oil, to taste Method 1. Lightly brown the meat and set aside2. In the same pan, add more oil and sauté the onions with the cinnamon sticks, cloves and cardamom pods3. Once the onions have started turning golden brown, add the garam masala, cumin, coriander and chilli powders4. Add additional oil if necessary and add garlic ginger paste5. Season with salt and add the crushed almonds before frying the onion mix on high heat for a couple of minutes6. Add water and place the meat back in7. Cover the meat with the spices8.
