Watch Video Ingredients 1 pack of phyllo pastryReady ashta you can buy it from the sweet shop.Water to seal the edgesGhee to cook the znoudAtar/syrupPistachio to garnish Instructions Remove the phyllo pastry from the package. With a pizza cutter or scissors or knife cut your pastry vertically make sure they are same size.Once done cover it with a paper towel to prevent from drying. Lay 3 pastry sheets vertically and 3 pastry sheets horizontally over the vertically strips creating a crossed shape form.Place a tbsp of ashta in the middle and start folding the horizontal layers ends over the ashta. Than roll it over the vertical layer.Apply water to seal the edges. Repeat until u finish all the sheets. If you want to make nutella znoud add 1 tsp nutella on top of the ashta and repeat the steps above.On a low heat melt the ghee and cook the znoud until they crispy golden.Remove from ghee and dip it in the atar/syrup.
