Watch Video Middle Eastern Spiced Cookies Ingredients 250g S/R Flour250g Plain Flour90g melted unsalted butter1/2 Cup warm milk (to start)1 tablespoon each of ground fennel & aniseed1.5 tablespoons nigella seeds1/2 teaspoon each mahlab, cinnamon & yeast1 cup caster sugar Steps Sift the flours into a large bowl, add the spices, sugar, yeast & nigella seeds. Mix well then make a well in the centre & add the butter milk.Knead & add more milk if needed to make a smooth non sticky dough. Rest 1-2 hours.Using a mould make golf sized balls, grease your mould & flatten the dough into the mould. Bake at 180 until golden (approx 13-15min) Once finished brush them with milk & enjoy!
