Mars Bar Slice is a dessert made with Mars Bars, a popular chocolate bar that originated in the UK. The bars are melted down and mixed with Rice Krispies cereal, creating a crispy and chewy texture.

Ingredients

50g butter1 tbsp golden syrup4 53g Mars bars, finely chopped (which is also exactly 13 of the little fun size Mars Bars)3 cups @kelloggsaus Rice Bubbles200g Baking Milk Chocolate10gm @copha (I used 20gm for the first batch, and it was a bit too much)

Method

Line the base and side of a slice pan with baking paper (let the paper overhang like I have done in the video)Combine the butter, golden syrup and three-quarters of the Mars bars in a medium non stick saucepan over low heat. Cook, stirring until the Mars bars and butter melt and the mixture is smoothAdd the rice bubbles and remaining chipped up Mars bar in a bowl. Add the melted Mars bar mixture and stir until well combinedPour into the prepared pan and smooth the surfaceSet aside for 1 hour to cool completelyMelt the Copha and chocolate in 30 second increments in the microwave, stirring after each time, until fully melted, and then pour over the top of the slice, covering it allLet it cool for about half an hour, and then decorate it however you wish (I completely forgot this step even though I purposely bought Christmas M&M’s for this reason!Refrigerate, slice it up, eat the entire batch in one go
