Download ImageMain Ingredients800 G Chicken Thighs (Boneless &Amp; Skinless, Cut Into Bite Sized Pieces)Marinade1 cup plain yoghurt1&1/2 tbsp garlic (grated)1 tbsp ginger (grated)2 tsp garam masala1 tsp turmeric powder1 tsp chilli powder1 tsp cumin powder1 tsp saltSauce2 tbsp oil2 tbsp butter1 large onion (finely diced)1&1/2 tbsp garlic (grated)1 tbsp ginger (grated)2 tsp garam masala2 tsp chilli powder2 large tomatoes (finely diced)2 tbsp tomato paste1 tsp salt (to taste)1 tsp brown sugar1 cup cream or yoghurt1/4 cup water (or more if needed)StepsCombine all ingredients for the marinade in a large bowl, add chicken & chill overnight in the fridge.In a large pan on medium high heat, add oil.When hot, add chicken (in batches), sear for abt 3 mins on both sides till they start to brown, remove & set aside.Into the same pan, melt butter.Add onion, garlic & ginger, when onion has turned translucent, add garam masala & chilli powder, fry till fragrant (abt 2 mins)Add both types of tomatoes, salt, sugar & cook till tomatoes have broken down.Add chicken back in & cook for 8 mins (add water gradually when spices start to stick to bottom of pan)Add cream, stir & cook for 5 mins until sauce has reached desired consistency.Taste to adjust seasoning, garnish with chopped cilantro or parsley (optional) & serve.
