Ayam Bakar Kecap (Sweet Grilled Chicken) Ingredients 4 chicken legsLime juiceSaltWater for boiling2 bay leaves2 keffir lime leaves1 stalk lemongrass, crushed2 cm fresh ginger, crushedSweet soy sauce for grilling Mashed Ingredients 6 shallots4 pips garlic2 cm fresh turmeric5 candlenuts2 tbsp coriander seeds2 tsp salt Instructions 1. Add lime juice and salt to chicken. Safe aside for about 20 mins then rinse with water.2. Rub the chicken with the mashed ingredients, then put them on a big pan.3. Pour water in until the chicken completely drawn.4. Add the rest of the ingredients except the sauce.5. Turn on the heat to medium mode. Let it boil. Flip the chicken once. Boil until the water reduced.6. Grill the chicken on charcoal for the best flavour. Brush the sweet soy sauce thoroughly on chicken twice. Grill until nicely burn both sides. Served!
