Asian Zing Wings are a popular chicken wing appetizer that originated from the American restaurant chain, Buffalo Wild Wings. The wings are first deep-fried until crispy and then tossed in a sweet and spicy Asian-inspired sauce made with soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and chili flakes. The result is a sticky, finger-licking sauce that coats the wings and packs a flavorful punch. These wings are often served as a party appetizer or as a main dish with a side of rice or noodles. Ingredients

12 wings – skin on1 tsp of baking powder1 tsp of salt1 tsp of paprika1/2 cup of soy sauce1/4 cup of sriracha1/4 of honey2 tbsp of rice vinegar3 grated garlic cloves1 tsp of grated ginger1 tsp of red chilli flakes1 green onion, sliced1 tsp of sesame seedsOil

Instructions

1. Prep the wings by mixing together the salt, baking powder and paprika. Place the wings on a rack and bake till crispy and golden. (Preheated oven, gas mark 5/190-200c)2. Meanwhile, in a pan heat up a little oil and add the sesame seeds. Alternatively you can use sesame oil. Add in the grated ginger and garlic, cook for a few minutes.3. Add in the chilli flakes, mix well.4. Add in the soy, honey, sriracha and rice vinegar. Give it a good mix, and bring to a bubble.5. Once the wings have cooked, place in the sauce and gently coat in the sauce.6. Garnish with sesame seeds and the green onions.
