Gajrela Aka Carrot Rice Pudding Ingredients

Milk 1 liter @almaraiPakistani Carrots 4 medium sized sliced in roundsRice 1/4 cup soaked in water for 1 hour and grinded finely @moulinexmeGreen Cardamoms fewDry Milk powder 1 cup @nidoarabiaSugar 1 cupghee 3 tablespoons @daldapakistanNuts for garnishing

Method

First boil the carrots in milk on medium flameThis will take about 30 min approxOnce it’s boiled blend it with hand blender to mix all together like a thick pastethen add the grinded rice and cook again for 30 min until rice soft and tenderThen add finely dry milk powder , sugar and stir again in low flame for 30 min until kheer starts to bubblePour the gajrela in small bowls and it’s ready to eat
