Download ImageWatch Video Black Forest Cupcakes IngredientsDry ingredients:1 cup plain flour1/3 cup cocoa powder @staffordssa1/4 teaspoon salt1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder1 cup sugarWet ingredients:1 large egg1/2 cup full fat milk1/3 cup oil1/2 cup coffee ( 1/2 cup boiling water 1 teaspoon Instant coffee mixed together and cooled down)1 teaspoon vanilla extract @staffordssaChocolate Ganache75g Dark Chocolate disks @staffordssa70ml Fresh creamMelt the chocolate in the microwave.Add in the hot fresh cream.Mix well.Cool down and use.( add more hot cream to the ganache if you want it more thin.)Extra Ingredients1 x 400g bottle cherries without stems @staffordssa ,(drained, washed and cut into slices), or 250g fresh cherries ( washed and sliced).250ml whipping cream (bakels)StepsSift the flour and cocoa powder.Add the rest of the dry ingredients and mix well. Leave aside.Whisk the wet ingredients together well.Add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and combine.Fill halfway into 12 cupcake holders in a cupcake pan.These cupcakes double in size.Bake in a preheated oven at 180c for 15 to 20min.Remove and cool completely.Peel the cupcake cases off.Cut the cupcake half.Pipe whipped cream. Top with sliced cherries.Place the other half of the cupcake on top.Pipe more whipped cream.Add chocolate ganache and more whipped cream.Top with a cherry.Garnish with chocolate shavings.Enjoy.
