These mini chocolate tarts offer a convenient and effortless way to enjoy a gourmet chocolate experience. Perfect for parties, gifts, or a simple personal indulgence.

Ingredients

1 pack Cookies of choice @henrobiscuits1⁄4 Cup Almonds4 (56g) Tablespoons butter melted

Ganache

150g Good quality dark/milk chocolate1⁄2 Cup whipping cream3 (42g) Tablespoons softened butter

Instructions

In a food processor processes the cookies with almonds till you get fine crumbs add in melted butter and pulse again till everything is incorporated.Line a cupcake tray with cupcake liners or cling film (watch my video on how easy this is) divide the cookie crumbs between the cupcake pan evenly. Press firmly using a mini glass or something like a the back of a wooden spoon or whisk. Neaten the edges using your fingers (be sure to press firmly you don’t want the base falling apart while you eat). Refrigerate while you prepare the ganache.To prepare the ganache:In a heat proof bowl add the chopped chocolate pour hot cream over it (heat your cream just till its hot not boiling) add the butter let it sit for 5 minutes then stir till everything is melted. (If the you having trouble melting the chocolate just pop it in the microwave and heat it at 15 second intervals stirring in between. Don’t heat it for too long the chocolate may burn or get hard).Once the ganache is ready pour it in the prepared cookie base. Decorate as desired. Let the tarts set in the Fridge for a good 2 to 4 hours before serving. Or pop it in to the freezer for 20-30 minutes I’d you’re in a hurry).Enjoy.Note: If you’d like the tart crunchy and firm then serve it straight from the fridge. If you’d like them softer then let It come to room temperature before serving. If you like the chocolate ganache filling to be soft then add more cream.
