Watch Video Viennese Apfelstrudel Ingredients 2 apples (I used Pink Ladies), diced1 tsp of ground cinnamon1/4 cup of water1 tbsp of lemon juice1/2 cup of sugar1 puff pastry sheet1 egg, whiskedicing sugar, for dusting Method 1. To a saucepan, add the apples, water, cinnamon and lemon juice2. Cook the apples until soft3. Cut slits on 2 sides of a puff pastry sheet and place the apple mixture along the middle4. Alternate bringing the slits in to create a ‘braided’ look5. Cover with whisked egg6. Bake in the oven at 180C for about 30 minutes, or until golden brown7.
