Meghli (Rice Pudding)

Meghli (Rice Pudding) Ingredients

8 cups cold water1 cup rice flour1 1/4 cup sugar1 1/2 tbsp caraway powder1 tbsp ground anise seeds1 tbsp ground cinnamon

For Garnish

Almonds (soaked in water the night before) & peeledPine nutsShredded coconut, unsweetenedCrushed pistachioWalnuts

Method

In a pot add all of the dry ingredients and mix them all together Add water and whisk wellBring to a boil on med/high heat then lower the heat and continue stirring on low until the mixture starts to thicken (15-20 minutes) Make sure to stir continuouslyPour into individual cups and let then cool slightly Cover each one with plastic wrap and refrigerate for a few hours Garnish right before serving Enjoy!Store in the fridge for 3-5 days
