Download ImageCalzone Dough Ingredients295 ml warm water (40 deg C)2 g active dry yeast1 tsp honey1/2 tbsp fine salt420 g AP flour (plus more to dust)Steps To Make DoughIn a small bowl, add water, honey & salt then sprinkle yeast, set aside for 5 mins then stirPlace flour in a large mixing bowl, make a well in the center, pour yeast mixture, stir until dough comes together & knead by hand for 2 mins (dough will be sticky)Cover with plastic wrap, place at room temp for 5 hrs or until doubled in sizeTransfer dough to a floured surface, turn to coat lightly & divide into 4Fold each piece of dough in half 8 times, gently pulling sides over the center, turning dough each timeForm a ball in your hands & transfer to a lightly oiled bowl, cover & set aside for 1 hr before usingFilling1 cup pizza sauce1 cup pepperoni or meat of choice3 cups mozzarella (freshly grated)2 tbsp olive oil1/2 cup parmesan cheese (freshly grated)Steps To Make FillingPreheat oven to 250 deg C & line baking tray with parchment paperRoll each piece of dough into a 1/2 cm thick circle, place filling on one half (leaving edges clean) fold empty side over the filling & crimp the edgesPlace calzones apart on baking tray, cut small vents on top of each calzone, brush with oil & sprinkle parmesan cheeseBake for 20 mins or until golden brown & serve immediately Source : www.instagram.com
