{"id":9497,"date":"2022-05-12T15:10:00","date_gmt":"2022-05-12T07:10:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=9497"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:50:31","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:50:31","slug":"spicy-korean-fried-chicken-thebukharigirls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/spicy-korean-fried-chicken-thebukharigirls","title":{"rendered":"Spicy Korean Fried Chicken"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Spicy Korean Fried Chicken Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>* 1.5 kg chicken wings, washed and drained<br \/>\n* 1\u20442 teaspoon salt<br \/>\n* 1\u20442 teaspoon ground black pepper<br \/>\n* 1 teaspoon chopped ginger<br \/>\n* 1 cup corn starch<br \/>\n* 2 tbsp peanuts (optional)<br \/>\n* 1 tsp chopped garlic<br \/>\n* 3 tbsp dried red chili cut into 1\u20443 inch pieces<br \/>\n* 1 tbsp red chili flakes<br \/>\n* 1\u20444 cup soya sauce<br \/>\n* 1\u20442 cup corn syrup or honey<br \/>\n* 1 tablespoon white vinegar<br \/>\n* 1 tablespoon mustard (optional)<br \/>\n* 1 tablespoon brown sugar<br \/>\n* 1 tablespoon sesame seed<br \/>\n* Oil for frying (I used Grapeseed oil)<\/p>\n<h2>Method<\/h2>\n<p>1. Cut off the tip of each wing and chop the wing in half.<br \/>\n2. Put the chicken in a bowl and mix with salt, ginger, and ground black pepper by hand.<br \/>\n3. Put corn flour in a bowl and dip each wing in the powder to coat it, one by one. Squeeze each wing to press the coating to it tightly.<br \/>\n<em><strong>For sauce:<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n1. Heat a large wok. Add 2 tablespoons cooking oil, minced garlic, and the dried red chili pepper. Cook until it\u2019s fragrant.<br \/>\n2. Add soy sauce, rice syrup, vinegar, and mustard sauce (optional). Stir with a wooden spoon and let it bubble for a few minutes.<br \/>\n3. Add the brown sugar and sesame seeds and continue stirring. Remove from the heat. Set aside.<br \/>\n<em><strong>For frying wings:<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n1. Fry coated chicken wings in hot oil for 7 to 8 minutes. Take them out on paper towel<br \/>\n2. let them sit for atleast half an hire then fry for another 12 to 15 minutes.<br \/>\n<em><strong>Coat the fried chicken with the sauce:<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n1. When the chicken is done, reheat the sauce until it bubbles.<br \/>\n2. Add the hot chicken and mix well with a wooden spoon to coat.<br \/>\nRemove from the heat and transfer the coated chicken to a large platter.
