Thinly coat the tofu cubes with the mixed cornstarch coating<br \/>\n2. Heat up a non stick pan with medium high heat, and add oil<br \/>\n3. Pan fry the the tofu until golden brown on all sides<br \/>\n4. Take the fried tofu cubes and place them on a plate and set aside<br \/>\n5. Lower the heat, add in shallots into the same pan and stir fry until caramelized and the fragrance of the shallots releases<br \/>\n6. Add jalapen\u0303os and garlic and stir well for about 1 minute. Be careful not to burn the garlic.<br \/>\n7.
