{"id":9034,"date":"2022-05-11T08:29:00","date_gmt":"2022-05-11T00:29:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=9034"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:51:00","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:51:00","slug":"roast-beef-mouracooks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/roast-beef-mouracooks","title":{"rendered":"Roast Beef"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Roast Beef Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>1.5 kg sirloin roast<br \/>\n4-5 potatoes, quartered<br \/>\n2 onions, peeled &amp; quartered<br \/>\n3 carrots, peeled &amp; cut in thick slices<br \/>\n6-8 garlic slivers (3-4 cloves sliced in half)<br \/>\n2 tbsp butter<br \/>\nolive oil<br \/>\nsalt &amp; pepper<br \/>\ngarlic powder<br \/>\nseasoning salt<\/p>\n<h2>Method<\/h2>\n<p>Preheat oven to 375F<br \/>\nPat the roast dry with paper towels. Using the tip of a sharp knife, make 6-8 small incisions around the toast and put a sliver of garlic into each cut.<br \/>\nRub olive oil all over the roast and coat with salt&amp;pepper. In a hot skillet, melt butter and pan sear the base and sides of the roast.<br \/>\nIn a roasting pan, add the seared roast and arrange the vegetables. Sprinkle garlic powder &amp; seasoning salt making sure to coat all the vegetables and drizzle with olive oil.<br \/>\nCook uncovered for 1 hour &amp; 30 minutes until the thermometer reads (150-160) for well done. Baste once halfway through cooking.<br \/>\nRemove from oven and cover loosely with tin foil for 15-20 minutes before cutting.
