In a bowl add ur softened butter and sift in the sugar and salt then gently mix it using a whisker<br \/>\n2. add in the egg yolks and vanilla extract<br \/>\n3. sift in the flour and corn starch and mix evenly using a spatula<br \/>\n4. once it have formed a dough transfer it onto a plastic and using a rolling pin, roll it to about 4-5mm thick<br \/>\n5. chill the dough in the fridge for about 30mins &#8211; 1 hour<br \/>\n6. after chilling it, press lightly using a cookie cutter and make sure to work quickly as the butter tends to melts faster<br \/>\n7. pop em in the oven at 160C for about 10-12mins (depending on ur oven)<br \/>\n8. u can eat it just like that or decorate it with some royal icing!<\/p>\n<h2>Royal Icing Recipe<\/h2>\n<p>\u2022 100g of sugar powder<br \/>\n\u2022 1\/2 tsp cream of tartar (u can substitute it with lemon juice\/vinegar)<br \/>\n\u2022 25ml egg white<br \/>\n&#8211; using a mixer, mix all of the ingredients until well incorporated<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ingredients \u2022 110g unsalted butter (softened) \u2022 Sugar powder 80g \u2022 Salt 1g \u2022 2 yolks (room temp), a little vanilla extract \u2022 200g AP or cake flour \u2022 10g Corn Starch Steps 1.
