{"id":8831,"date":"2022-05-07T14:46:00","date_gmt":"2022-05-07T06:46:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=8831"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:51:36","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:51:36","slug":"baked-kafta-potatoes-rice-mouracooks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/baked-kafta-potatoes-rice-mouracooks","title":{"rendered":"Baked Kafta Potatoes &amp; Rice"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Baked Kafta Potatoes &amp; Rice Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>1 1\/2 lbs lean ground beef<br \/>\n1 bunch parsley, chopped<br \/>\n1 onion, finely diced or grated<br \/>\n1 1\/2 tsp salt<br \/>\n2 tsp 7 spice<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp black pepper<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp cinnamon<br \/>\n3 tomatoes, cut in round slices<br \/>\n3 potatoes, peeled and sliced (I use Russet potatoes they hold their shape well when placed in sauce).<\/p>\n<h2>For The Sauce<\/h2>\n<p>3 tbsp tomato paste<br \/>\n4 cups water<br \/>\n1 tsp salt<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp 7 spice<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp dried basil<br \/>\n1\/4 tsp black pepper<\/p>\n<h2>Method<\/h2>\n<p>In a large bowl combine beef, onion, parsley &amp; spices and mix until all the ingredients are well combined.<br \/>\nForm the mixture into patties and place in a oven safe baking dish, alternating with potatoes and tomatoes (you can also layer them on top of each other).<br \/>\nIn a separate bowl, add all the ingredients for the sauce and whisk together very well. Pour on top of kafta and cover with foil.<br \/>\nBake at 400 for 30 minutes then remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes. Serve with vermicelli rice.
