{"id":8730,"date":"2022-05-06T08:43:00","date_gmt":"2022-05-06T00:43:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=8730"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:51:58","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:51:58","slug":"mini-meat-pies-aka-sfeeha-mouracooks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/mini-meat-pies-aka-sfeeha-mouracooks","title":{"rendered":"Mini Meat Pies (Aka Sfeeha)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Mini Meat Pies Dough Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>4 1\/2 cups flour<br \/>\n1 cup warm milk<br \/>\n1 cup warm water<br \/>\n1\/4 cup corn oil<br \/>\n1 tbsp yeast<br \/>\n1 tsp baking powder<br \/>\n1 tsp salt<br \/>\n1 tsp sugar<\/p>\n<h2>For The Meat Filling<\/h2>\n<p>1 lb ground beef<br \/>\n2 medium onions, diced<br \/>\n2 tomatoes, diced<br \/>\n1 1\/2 tsp salt<br \/>\n2 tsp 7 spice<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp black pepper<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp ground cinnamon<br \/>\npine nuts (optional)<br \/>\ndash of cayenne or paprika (optional)<\/p>\n<h2>Method<\/h2>\n<p>In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar and yeast. Cover and set aside to foam(10-15mins). In a separate bowl mix flour, salt &amp; baking powder.<br \/>\nIn a stand mixer, add the water\/yeast mixture, milk &amp; oil.<br \/>\nAdd 2 cups of flour and mix using the dough hook attachment.<br \/>\nAdd remaining flour 1 cup at a time until the dough is no longer sticky.<br \/>\nShape dough into one big ball and lightly coat bowl &amp; dough with oil.<br \/>\nCover with plastic wrap and cover with a blanket until the dough doubles in size (at least 1 hour).<br \/>\n*The dough can be made without a stand mixer and kneaded by hand &#8211; a nice way to take out your frustration*<br \/>\n<em><strong>To form the meat pies:<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nPreheat oven to 400F<br \/>\nForm the dough into small balls (golf size) and place them on a large tray and cover with a towel.<br \/>\nFlatten each dough balls on floured surface into round 5\u201d circles.<br \/>\nAdd 2 tbsp of the meat mixture in the middle leaving a 1\u201d border around.<br \/>\nFold the sides to partially cover the filling and pinch the edges all around to form a border. Add a few pine nuts to the centre of the meat pie (optional).<br \/>\nPlace meat pies on parchment lined tray and bake for 10-12 min, until the bottoms are golden brown.
