{"id":8467,"date":"2022-04-29T07:54:00","date_gmt":"2022-04-28T23:54:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=8467"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:52:48","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:52:48","slug":"vegetarian-grape-leaves-mouracooks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/vegetarian-grape-leaves-mouracooks","title":{"rendered":"Vegetarian Grape Leaves"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Vegetarian Grape Leaves Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>1-1.5 jars grape leaves*<br \/>\n2 cups uncooked rice<br \/>\n1.5 cups chopped parsley<br \/>\n1-2 large onions chopped<br \/>\n1\/2 cup olive oil<br \/>\n3-4 tomatoes diced<br \/>\n2 lemons juiced<br \/>\n2 tsp dried mint<br \/>\n1 tbsp salt more to taste<br \/>\n1 tsp 7 spice<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp black pepper<br \/>\ndash of cayenne pepper<br \/>\n2 potatoes sliced (for bottom layer of pot)<br \/>\n*Grape leaves can be picked fresh in warmer months or bought preserved in jars (make sure to wash them well).<\/p>\n<h2>Method<\/h2>\n<p>Wash rice very well in cold water, drain and add to a large bowl.<br \/>\nAdd chopped vegetables, parsley, spices, lemon &amp; olive oil and mix well.<br \/>\nLay grape leaves on a flat surface, remove stem and add 1 tbsp of the mixture and roll leaves tightly.<br \/>\nPeel, slice &amp; wash potatoes and layer them in the bottom of the pot (you can eat these afterwards as well they taste amazing). Add all the grapes leaves the extra liquid from the mixture.<br \/>\nI add a sprinkle of salt on top as well as some olive oil, cover with a plate making sure to push down well &amp; add water until all of the grape leaves are covered.<br \/>\nBring to a boil and then lower heat and cook for 1 hour.
