Place the almonds in another bowl.<br \/>\nDip one piece of the bread into the egg mixture first, and then into the almonds making sure the almonds stick to the bread by pressing with your hands. Coat both sides of the bread with both the egg mixture and almonds.<br \/>\nPlace the bread on the griddle, and cook until each side starts to turn golden brown, about 3 minutes on each side.<br \/>\nTransfer to a plate and top with your favorite toppings.
