{"id":5071,"date":"2022-03-29T10:30:00","date_gmt":"2022-03-29T02:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=5071"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:59:19","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:59:19","slug":"raw-vegan-homemade-turtles-bypaigeashlie","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/raw-vegan-homemade-turtles-bypaigeashlie","title":{"rendered":"Raw Vegan Homemade Turtles"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients You\u2019ll Need<\/h2>\n<p>1.5 cup Medjool dates<br \/>\n1\/2 &#8211; 1 tsp sea salt<br \/>\n2 cups pecans *approx.<br \/>\n1 1\/2 cups raw dark chocolate of choice<br \/>\n1\/2 tbsp coconut oil<\/p>\n<h2>Directions<\/h2>\n<p>In a food processor, add dates (I usually soak mine in hot water for an hour or so before hand to soften) &amp; a tiny bit of water if needed.<br \/>\nAdd the salt and pulse until a ball forms. If the caramel needs more salt, add a bit more.<br \/>\nOnce mixed, wrap the dough in a plastic wrap and place in the freezer for 1-2 hours (this makes the dough much easier to work with).<br \/>\nTo make the turtles, remove dough from freezer and roll into approx.<br \/>\n2 inch balls and place on a parchment lined pan. Add 3 pecans to each ball and flatten a bit.<br \/>\nTo make the chocolate coating, melt chocolate &amp; coconut oil over a double boiler or in a microwave safe dish.<br \/>\nOnce melted, spoon chocolate over each turtle until coated. Add an extra sprinkle of sea salt on top (optional, but come on, its salt).<br \/>\nOnce all turtles are coated, place in freezer to harden!
