{"id":5005,"date":"2022-03-27T14:07:00","date_gmt":"2022-03-27T06:07:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=5005"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:59:32","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:59:32","slug":"keto-mardi-gras-king-cake-sarahsteffens_personalchef","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/keto-mardi-gras-king-cake-sarahsteffens_personalchef","title":{"rendered":"Keto Mardi Gras King Cake"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Cake Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>5 large eggs<br \/>\n\u00bc teaspoon cream of tartar<br \/>\n6 tablespoons butter, melted<br \/>\n1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract<br \/>\n4 ounces plain cream cheese, softened<br \/>\n1 cup almond flour<br \/>\n1\/3 cup brown erythritol<br \/>\n2 teaspoons baking powder<br \/>\n2 teaspoons ground cinnamon<\/p>\n<h2>Frosting<\/h2>\n<p>2 tablespoons butter, softened<br \/>\n2 ounces plain cream cheese, softened<br \/>\n3 tablespoons heavy whipping cream<br \/>\n2 tablespoons confectioners\u2019 erythritol<br \/>\n\u00bd teaspoon pure vanilla extract<\/p>\n<h2>Sprinkles<\/h2>\n<p>6 teaspoons erythritol divided 3 ways (2 teaspoons each)<br \/>\n2 drops yellow food coloring<br \/>\n2 drops green food coloring<br \/>\n2 drops purple food coloring (or 1 drop of red and 1 drop of blue)<br \/>\nOptional:<br \/>\n1 oven-safe toy \u201cbaby\u201d to bake in your cake<\/p>\n<h2>Instructions<\/h2>\n<p>Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.<br \/>\nGrease a Bundt tin with butter spray and set aside.<br \/>\nSeparate the eggs into two bowls. Add the cream of tartar to the egg whites and beat with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form.<br \/>\nAdd 3 tablespoons of melted butter, vanilla, cream cheese and \u00bd of the brown erythritol to the egg yolks and mix very well. Add 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, baking powder and almond flour and mix very well.<br \/>\nFold the egg whites into the almond flour mixture until well-combined.<br \/>\nIn another small bowl, combine the remaining 3 tablespoons of melted butter, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and \u00bd of the erythritol and mix well.<br \/>\nPour half of the cake batter into the Bundt tin. Top with the butter, cinnamon and erythritol mixture over the batter, then top with the remaining batter.<br \/>\nSwirl the batter with a butter knife so that the cinnamon mixture spreads around. Do not overmix.<br \/>\nIf baking a toy \u201cbaby\u201d in your cake, carefully push it down into the cake batter.<br \/>\nBake in the oven for 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick entered into it comes out clean.<br \/>\nAllow cake to completely cool before removing from the pan by flipping upside down onto a cake platter.<br \/>\nWhile the cake is cooling, prepare your frosting and sprinkles.<br \/>\nMix the frosting ingredients together very well.
