{"id":4754,"date":"2022-03-23T08:10:00","date_gmt":"2022-03-23T00:10:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=4754"},"modified":"2026-03-09T21:00:23","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T13:00:23","slug":"mughrabiyih-lebanese-version-of-couscous-nanos_kitchen1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/mughrabiyih-lebanese-version-of-couscous-nanos_kitchen1","title":{"rendered":"Mughrabiyih ( Lebanese Version Of Couscous)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>2 cups of dried mughrabiyeh I used @ziyadbrand<br \/>\n1 can of chickpea<br \/>\n2 cups of onion pearls (or regular onions cut into quarters)<br \/>\n2 tbsps of oil<br \/>\n2 tbsps of butter<br \/>\n2 tbsps of caraway<br \/>\n1 tbsps of cinnamon<br \/>\nSalt and pepper to taste<\/p>\n<h2>For The Chicken Broth<\/h2>\n<p>8 cups of water<br \/>\n1 whole chicken (cleaned and dried probably)-cut into desired size.<br \/>\n1 cinnamon stick<br \/>\n4 cardamom pods<br \/>\n2 bay leaves<br \/>\n1 carrot<br \/>\n1 onion<br \/>\n1 celery stick(optional)<br \/>\nFried nuts for garnishing (optional)<\/p>\n<h2>Method<\/h2>\n<p>In a pot, heat your vegetable oil.<br \/>\nThen, add your chicken pieces sear for 4 mins, flip them and sear for another 4 mins.<br \/>\nAdd the water to the chicken, add your broth ingredients and allow to boil for 30-40 min.<br \/>\nSkim off any fat or white foam that might raise to the top.<br \/>\nMeanwhile, in a separate pan, add your butter and the remaining oil.<br \/>\nAdd your onions, saut\u00e9 until fragrant.<br \/>\nThen, add the mughrabiyih pearls to the pot.<br \/>\nMix them gently, allowing the butter to coat all the pearls.
